On Saturday August 9th McDowell 4-Hers joined over 200 youth from all over Western North Carolina to compete in this years West Region 4-H Shooting Sports Tournament at Polk County Gun Club. McDowell 4-Hers competed in Shotgun, Rifle, Archery and Smallbore Pistol. Several youth from McDowell qualified for the state 4-H Tournament to be held at Millstone 4-H Camp on October 4th.
