The Master Gardeners of McDowell County along with Settlemyre Nursery invite you to join a Container Gardening Workshop on Thursday, October 6, at 6 p.m. at the McDowell Senior Center, 100 Spaulding Road, Marion.
You will learn how to properly plant a container, how to keep the pot gorgeous throughout the seasons, and hear about current gardening trends. The cost is $29, and includes 12″ plastic pot, plants, soil, fertilizer, and staff guidance. There is an option to upgrade to a ceramic pot for an additional fee.
To register, visit the Settlemyre Nursery website. Open the Events tab, and click on the Master Gardener Container Workshop. You will pay online. Registration is limited to 40.
The event is FREE if you wish to listen to the presentation, but not participate in the hands-on experience. In this case, there is no need to register.
