North Carolina Wildlife has given us the greenlight to hold a “virtual” wildlife tournament for 2021. We will practice at Carolina West Shooting Club and will hold a tournament day at CWSC with Wildlife Officers. Scores will be sent in to compete with the other programs in our district. North Carolina 4-H has set up protocols to help make face to face meetings as safe as possible. I am going to hold an information session at Carolina West on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 4 p.m. All participants must watch a video reviewing protocols before they can participate. It is really important for everyone to attend that plans on participating. You must let me know by Monday, January 25 if you will be attending. If you can not make this meeting but still want to participate please call me. We will conduct temperature checks when everyone arrives and everyone must wear a mask unless on the firing line.

We are planning to have a Senior Team (Grades 9-12) and a Junior Team (Grades 6-8) this year. Cost to compete is $30. All participants must have passed the North Carolina Wildlife Hunter Education course. If you have not taken the course please let me know and we will set up a class. If you have any questions, please call Chad Ray at 652-8104.
