The Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteer Association of McDowell County will have their monthly program meeting on Organic Gardening for the Home Garden on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, 6:30 p.m. at the Corpening Memorial YMCA, 348 Grace Corpening Drive, Marion. Craig Mauney, Area Specialized Agent, Commercial Vegetable and Fruits, with North Carolina Cooperative Extension will be presenting. Craig has a vast experience of over 25 years in the field.
The Organic Gardener prefers to use organic methods and materials to grow vegetables, flowers, and even turf. Learn how to use the least amount of synthetic chemicals and practices that may be detrimental to your health and the environment. Join us as we learn an organic approach to fertilization and pest control practices. The program is FREE and open to the public.
