A special acknowledgment goes to Skyler Murray, our Livestock and Field Crops Agent, who celebrated her second anniversary with North Carolina Cooperative Extension-McDowell County Center on September 1.  Skyler stepped up with incredible skill and leadership, handling both the logistics and equipment.  She handles a tractor and skid steer as though she’d been doing it her whole life--she most likely has.  Her calm, collected approach and technical expertise have been a tremendous asset, guiding recovery efforts through challenging situations.  For Skyler's efforts, she was recognized with the N.C. Cooperative Extension, McDowell County Center's Mitchell Overachiever Award.  Congratulations Skyler!
