USDA-NRCS 2025 Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP)
The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is offering financial assistance through the 2025 EQIP Hurricane Helene Assistance to support producers affected by Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina. Assistance will be provided through the EQIP program and producers in McDowell are encouraged to apply. This program provides aid for all EQIP practices that benefit cropland, pastureland, and forestry management. To qualify, producers must meet both participant and land eligibility requirements. Applications are being accepted until January 10, 2025.
