4-H Embryology is underway in all our elementary schools.  2nd graders are working hard to learn the life cycle and hatching baby chickens.  We have set eggs from Biltmore Farms and are expecting a wonderful hatch.  After the hatch is complete we will be offering the baby chickens to sale to the public on May 16th.  They must be picked up between 1:00 and 4:30 on May 16th.  We are taking preorders starting now or on a first come first serve basis.  Cost is 4 chicks for $10 or 10 chicks for $20.  These are straight run egg laying breeds.  Call Chad at 652-8104 with any questions.  Please email your order request to chad_ray@ncsu.edu.
