July 7-12 McDowell 4-H took 13 youth to Betsy Jeff Penn 4-H Camp in Reidsville, North Carolina.  Campers spent their week learning about nature, canoeing, horseback riding, swimming, climbing and meeting kids from all over the state.  Summer Camp is one of our most important 4-H programs.  Participants learn many great life skills and make memories that will last a lifetime.  Camp is for youth 8-14.  This year McDowell filled their camp spots quickly.  So if you would like to get more information about getting involved for next summer call Chad!  Information about the camping center can be found at bjpenn4h.org
