What to Bring/Wear:

This cleanup will be more challenging than our typical ones due to the nature of the trash we are removing. Much of it is debris related to Hurricane Helene. There will be small and bulky items to pick up over a vast expanse of area around the river. We will be on land, but many will also be wading in and around the creek, so please prepare with the following:
  • Please wear closed-toe shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
  • Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and possibly wet.
  • Bring a full water bottle.
  • Towel and change of clothes (optional but highly recommended).
  • Day pack to hold your personal belongings (optional).
