Calling all young innovators (ages 9-14)! Are you curious about the world of coding? Want to learn to create your own animations and games?  Join 4-H Tech Titans for a fun and engaging coding experience using Google CS First and Scratch

.What is 4-H Tech Titans?

4-H Tech Titans is a youth development program that empowers young people to explore the exciting world of computer science. Through hands-on projects and interactive lessons, you'll learn valuable coding skills while developing important life skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.

What is Google CS First?

Google CS First provides free, engaging coding curriculum for students of all levels. Using fun, game-based activities, you'll learn the fundamentals of coding while creating projects you'll be proud to share.

How it Works:
  • Drop-in Sessions: Join us every other Monday from 6 pm to 7:30 pm, County Services Building, Extension Conference Room, 2nd Floor.  You can come once, every so often, or all the time.  It's up to you.  Check our events to make sure a session is scheduled.  March meetings will be on Monday, March 10 and 24.
  • Learn at Your Own Pace: Explore the exciting world of coding at your own speed.
  • Computers Provided: We'll have computers available for you to use during the sessions.

To Participate:  Simply let us know that you will be participating before the scheduled drop-in by calling 828-652-8104.  This ensures a computer will be set up for you that evening, and we have an account set up for you.

We can't wait to see you there! This may be a spark that leads to a career down the road.

Here are two projects created by current team members Elijah P. and Caitlyn W.
