Each year, McDowell 4-H works with 2nd grade classrooms in McDowell County to offer 4-H Embryology Project for school enrichment.  The 4-H Embryology Project is a wonderful opportunity for youth to begin learning the science of life.  The students use an incubator with the goal of successfully incubating avian embryos through the hatching process.

This year we got our eggs from the Biltmore Farms and are able to sell the baby chicks.  If you would like to purchase freshly hatched chicks, please call Chad at 828-652-8104.  Cost is 4 for $10 or 10 for $20. Pick up date is May 12th!
