Our office is collecting non-perishable food items, but not just any non-perishable foods. The Foothills Food Hub through different initiatives has been able for provide fresh local produce to McDowell County citizens. Our goal is to provide ingredients that families will be able to use to supplement fresh produce. We are asking, if you are able, to donate the following ingredients that will enhance any salad:
- Salad dressings
- Croutons
- Almond slivers
- Sunflower seeds
- Craisins
You can donate any or all of the ingredients. Any donation appreciated. Add these ingredients to your shopping list.
Drop off your donations at the Extension office, 60 East Court St, Marion, 2nd Floor.
