Teens Teaching Tech: Volunteers Needed
You're a teen, and you know tech. Do you want to share your knowledge with older adults or others who don't have the same digital skills as you? We are looking for motivated youth to join our Digital Bridge Collaborative to help bridge the digital divide in McDowell County. Teen leaders will work directly with local older adults, providing them with the essential digital literacy tools and confidence they need to thrive in a tech-driven world.
Want to learn more, meet the program leaders, and find out how to apply? Parents and interested teens are invited to attend our upcoming informational meeting. We are hosting two identical sessions to accommodate busy summer schedules:
Date: Tuesday, July 21, 2026
Session 1: 2:00 PM
Session 2: 6:00 PM
Location: Cooperative Extension Conference Room, 60 East Court St, Marion
Whether you are a social media lover, an aspiring public speaker, or simply passionate about community service, there is a place for you on this team. Come check it out and discover how you can become a leader for digital equity!
Any questions, call Molly at 828-652-8104.
