Collapse ▲July 7-12 McDowell 4-H took 13 youth to Betsy Jeff Penn 4-H Camp in Reidsville, North Carolina. Campers spent their week learning about nature, canoeing, horseback riding, swimming, climbing and meeting kids from all over the state. Summer Camp is one of our most important 4-H programs. Participants learn many great life skills and make memories that will last a lifetime. Camp is for youth 8-14. This year McDowell filled their camp spots quickly. Campers this year were: Liam Thomas, Danica Wylie, Jovani Rodriguez, Anna Watkins, Dalton Martin, Victor Velarde, Donovon Sierra, Axel Arriolla, Zoey Schetter, Greylan Kellogg, Alexis Tomas, Ariel Tomas and Armani Tomas.
