Agricultural Advisory Board Member Needed

The Agricultural Advisory Board is seeking a volunteer to serve on the Board. The purpose of the Board is to review and approve applications for qualified farmland and voluntary agricultural districts and make recommendations concerning the establishment and modification of agricultural districts, to hold public hearings, and to perform other related tasks as assigned. The Board is required to meet at least once a year, and will schedule additional meetings as needed to perform its duties. Volunteers can expect to attend three to five meetings in a typical year. At least five of the seven members shall be actively engaged in production agriculture.
