N.C. Cooperative Extension, Bertie County Center will be offering multiple winter production meetings next year. Below is a list of in-person meetings planned for January, February, & March 2024. Please click the links below to register for the production meetings you want to attend. Don’t forget to include your pesticide license number if you are attending to earn credits.

2024 Bertie County Winter Meeting Schedule

January 18th  Regional Soybean School

  • 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Lunch is provided.
  • 3 hours of N, D, O, and X pesticide credits will be available for NCDA&CS recertification.
  • CCA credits are available

January 24th  Grain Marketing & Managing Risk w/Crop Insurance

  • 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

February 9th Peanut Production Meeting

  • 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Lunch is served at 12:30 p.m.
  • 2 hours of N, D, O, and X pesticide credits will be available for NCDA&CS recertification

February 13th Cotton Production Meeting

  • 10:00 a.m. to Noon
  • Lunch is served at noon.
  • 2 hours of N, D, O, and X pesticide credits will be available for NCDA&CS recertification.

February 19th Corn Production Meeting

  • 10:00 a.m. to Noon
  • Lunch is served at noon.
  • 2 hours of N, D, O, and X pesticide credits will be available for NCDA&CS recertification.

February 22nd NCDA Pesticide Recertification Safety “V” Training

  • 10:00 a.m. to Noon

February 27th  Annual In-Person Auxin Training

  • 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

February 27th NCDA Pesticide Recertification Soil Fumigant “Z(SF)” Training

  • 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
  • 1 hour of N, D, X, and S credit will be available for NCDA&CS recertification.

March 5th Soybean & Corn Weed Management

  • 10:00 a.m. to Noon
  • Lunch is served at noon.
  • 2 hours of N, D, O, and X pesticide credits will be available for NCDA&CS recertification.
