The fun never ends here at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center! As our summer camps come to a close, our fall classes will begin. With classes for Henderson County residents in grades K-12 and adults, there’s something for everyone to have fun learning about nutrition!

Each class will include a nutrition lesson complete with fun projects, physical activity, and a healthy recipe. Students will learn all about the foods that we eat and how to use them safely. Through the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), these classes are completely FREE, so there’s no reason not to participate!

Each class is loads of fun, but space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. All classes will be held at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Henderson County Center at 100 Jackson Park Rd Hendersonville, NC 28792.

For questions and registration, please contact Betsy J. Tankersley, EFNEP Educator, at 828-697-4891 or bjtanker@ncsu.edu
