On Friday June 14th youth from all over the western district met at Western Carolina University for the 2024 West District 4-H Activity Day.  Youth presented on various topics and competed to win a trip to Raleigh for State Presentations.

Greylan Kellogg from McDowell presented on "How to be a Doctor in Rural North Carolina".  Greylan competed in the Career and Entreprenuers category and won first place.  He will go on to Raleigh in July and represent McDowell County.  Congratulations Greylan!!!!
