The Master Gardeners of McDowell County have been working hard organizing Good Earth Gardening: A Garden Symposium.  Good Earth Gardening will be Saturday, March 12, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the McDowell Senior Center, 100 Spaulding Road, Marion.

This is Part 2 of a 4 part series highlighting the keynote speakers and workshops. (Good Earth Gardening: A Garden Symposium Part I)

Annie Martin is a native of WNC who currently lives in Brevard.  Annie is an educator, landscape designer, and farmer of mosses.  She has become a respected expert in creating moss gardens.  Mountain Moss Enterprises, Annie's business, was awarded a NC agriculture grant to advance the cultivation of mosses.
