N.C. Cooperative Extension’s Keep McDowell Beautiful program will be supporting the Marion East Community Forum to host a clean-up day. Volunteers are needed to help remove litter from their neighborhood sidewalks and roadsides. Keep McDowell Beautiful will provide safety vests, trash grabbers, bags, and other supplies for the event. Volunteers are asked to bring their own water bottle, and a mask or face covering to be worn if you need to work within six feet of other volunteers.

When: Saturday, March 20, 2021, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: East Marion Pentecostal Holiness Church 900 Baldwin Ave., Marion

Why: To beautify our community!
