The top resolutions for each year are almost always the same, every New Year. People want to lose weight, exercise more, and eat healthier. The year starts off and everything is going smooth. The USDA Food and Nutrition Service have developed a My Plate app. It allows you to set goals in each food group and syncs up to your smartwatch. You can see your daily progress and join challenges to stay motivated while on your healthier you journey.
Eat Smart Move More NC offers tips and tools for healthier eating and increasing physical activity.
Nutrition.gov is also a great site. It’s sponsored by the USDA and offers information to help with making healthful eating choices as well as cooking tips, recipes and food storage recommendations.
