TRACTOR Food & Farms is a non-profit food hub located in Burnsville. It is an aggregation center that buys local products (produce & meat) and markets it to area restaurants and grocery stores. TRACTOR works with over 50 growers in western North Carolina. Come learn how you can become involved with TRACTOR.
In addition to TRACTOR, three USDA production initiatives will be presented. Producers will learn about initiatives on high tunnels, transitioning to organics, and on-farm energy and how you can benefit and apply.
