North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service Listening Sessions

NCCES-McDowell County Center Stakeholders:

The North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service is holding listening sessions across the state that will be instrumental in developing a strategic plan for the future of Cooperative Extension. The strategic plan will detail staffing and well as programming.

The 3 listening sessions that are in our immediate area are:

  • November 19, 1-3 p.m. Burke County Extension Center, 130 Ammons Drive, Suite 2, Morganton
  • November 19, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Watauga County Extenson Conference Center, 252 Poplar Grove Road, Boone
  • November 21, 1-3 p.m.Mountain Horticultural Crops Research & Extension Center, 455 Research Drive, Mills River

As county partners and participants in our programs, I invite you to engage in this process. We need to have a strategic plan that requires your input and insight. I hope that you will attend one of these sessions.
