Special Instructions Directions to the McDowell County Center Travel west on I-40 to Hwy 226 (Exit 86) and turn right. Travel 226 to the second light and turn right. Travel 221 Business into Marion on Rutherford Road which turns into Main Street. Turn right on East Court Street. Traveling east on I-40 exit Sugar Hill Road (Exit 81) and turn to the left toward Marion. Travel Sugar Hill Road into Marion to Main Street and turn left on Main. Turn right on East Court Street. From the North travel 221/226 to 221 Business into Marion. This is also Main Street. Turn left on East Court Street. The County Administration Building is located on the right side of the road at the bottom of the hill. The McDowell County Extension Center is located on the second floor of the County Administration Building. |
